New Neighbors

Isaac and I met our new neighbors today! They moved about a month ago into the house two doors down. I saw some little kid toys in the yard, so I was hopeful that they would have a kid Isaac's age. Last night when I came home from my massage, I saw the little boy (who looked a little older than Isaac, but not much) outside with who I thought was his mom. So I grabbed the hubs and the munchkin and we walked over to say hi. Turns out it was the babysitter, but we did find out that the little boy's name is Eli and he just turned two.

So today I decided to take Isaac for a walk, and Eli was outside playing while his dad worked on some landscaping and his mom watched. We stopped by and introduced ourselves. They were very nice and seemed relatively normal! They seemed like they're in their late 20's, they have Eli who just turned two in June, and a baby on the way. They will be married for three years in August. They just moved here from Michigan because the husband got a job at UND as an aircraft mechanic. They said to stop over anytime and I extended the same offer. It's nice to have another young family in the neighborhood!
